I had a guest appearance on the August 6th (coincidentally my birthday) edition of Current’s Campaign Update (I also made the kick-ass logo at the end of the segment too). Skip ahead to 3min in for my triumphant win at paper football. And here’s my Perez Hilton’d teaser of the episode tonight of my follow up appearance in the White Hot Top 5. Tonight at 10PM ET - CurrentTV
I had the opportunity to give a live reading of Eyelids to a youth camp at an elementary school followed by an art project regarding the story. It was an awesome experience.
Every time I’m in an elementary school I get nostalgic…

The Bastion, a kickass blog focusing on Chicago comedy, runs a weekly ‘New Video Wednesday’ post. I asked them if they could add our Klondike Commercial to this week’s posting, and they awesomely did. Oddly enough we get two for the price of one here, since they also featured a spot from Infomania, the house of Jason. Click the image for the entry on The Bastion.
Please, anybody who sees this please do us a favor and VOTE for our new Klondike Commercial.

Here is the video, but remember, you must VOTE at WWYDFAKB.com:
I’m heading back to Chicago on Friday for a week in order to try to hook up with around every girl I’ve liked since I was 9 and so that we can write our big hour long presentation for Spark next month. Think you were sick of our artsy bullshit? Just wait until August 16th.
In the meantime, here’s a funny video from last week’s show…Adults Watching Kid Shows:
To coincide with the 21st anniversary of the birth of Writer/ Director Brad Bischoff,we present to the internet community our short film “Eyelids” We also want to thank all you for your continual support. All of us, especially Brad, put our hearts and souls into this film, and we are proud to finally get it out to a wide audience. Thank each and everyone of you that help facilitate the creation and the processes there after.
A press release written by Jason and edited by my sister, Jenny Zegler, is below, pass it on to your favorite news outlet.
Eyelids was accepted and shown at Filmvideo 2008, a film fest in Montecatini Terme, Italy. It was one of only three American films that got accepted into the fest.
We just got word that it received a mention and will be honored at the awards ceremony tomorrow (July 12) at Cinema Imperiale in Montecatini Terme @ 9:30 p.m.!
– Here is our thank you that will be presented and translated –
“Eyelids is a story about a boy trying to be noticed, and in a way, I
believe each and every film that gets created has that same ideal, to be noticed and to find an audience. So thank you to this wonderful festival for allowing our film to be noticed tonight. A huge thank you to the FilmVideo festival for continuing to support the cinematic arts and the work of filmmakers from all over the world. We are truly honored.”
Here’s my recommended watch from last week’s infoMania, starring my buddy Zach as the PA. It farcically covers the world of Spore, the epic video game from the creator of The Sims.
